19″ FRONT PANELS
Frontplatten für steckbare Baugruppen können standardmäßig Einfach- oder Doppeleuropakarten aufnehmen. Frontplatten werden ebenfalls aus extrudiertem Profil angeboten. Es stehen verschiedene Schirmvarianten zur Verfügung. Unter diversen Griffvarianten ist ebenfalls die IEEE1101.10 Aufbauversion zu finden.
AR 404 (ATR)
Compact rugged and lightweigth ATR Chassis according to ARINC 404A-standard for use in harsh environments Dip brazed aluminum body (6061-T651) mainly designed for air and land vehicle applications. Designed to meet MIL-Standards MIL-STD-810F/ MIL-STD-461C/ MIL-STD-704(B-F)/ MIL-STD-1275D. The AR 40 familiy consists of 12 different form factors which are available in top or rear-loader versions
CASSETTES
Cassettes are used to mount one or more PCBs. Thereby they form a closed self-contained functional unit. The standard version is typically used for the accomodation of PCBs in the format of single or double size Eurocards. The modules guarantee an optimum for mechanical protection for the location of the PCBs in subracks or cases. The basic versions already cover shielding requirements.
CASTEC
The case series CasTEC has been specifically developed for use in harsh industrial environments. The case consists of two covers made of die-cast aluminum. The sealing gasket required for IP 65 compliance is recessed positioned internally in the top cover. The possibility of unintentional damage is thus practically excluded. This guarantees the reliability of the case, even if frequently opened and closed. A chassis plate can be mounted in the base of the bottom cover. Easy-to-mount and retrofittable mounting flanges enable wall mounting. Chassis plate and mounting flanges are optionally available for every case size.
COMPACTPCI
CompactPCI Backplanes based on a PICMG standard (PICMG 2.0 Rev.3.0) are intended for industrial applications and environments that demand high standards due to reliability and robustness. Here the classical PCI bus is transposed to a 19"-compliant platform.
COMPACTPCI PLUS I/O
CompactPCI Backplanes based on the PICMG-Standard (PICMG 2.3 Rev.1) are 100% compatible to the classic CompactPCI backplanes and extend them with a modern, serial point-to-point connection through the rear connector J2. These include, among others, the PCI-Express, Ethernet 1000 Base-T, USB 2.0 and SATA/SAS. The CompactPCI Plus I/O builds the bridge to CompactPCI-Serial.
COMPACTPCI SERIAL
CompactPCI Serial uses the mechanical features of the established CompactPCI and is therefore 100% IEEE compliant. Unlike its previous model, CompactPCI Serial only uses serial point-to-point connections between the individual slots. The 2 mm hard metric connector of the CPCI has been replaced by a more modern and compact connector, which allows to process different serial signals of 10 Gb/s serial and more.
DEVELOPMENT CHASSIS
The modular open frame Test & Development system solution can be used in VME / 64x, CPCI and VPX based embedded applications.The development system with the ruggedmodular aluminum construction for 3U and 6U boards can support backplanes up to 10 slots at 0.8 or 8 slots at 1.0 inch pitch. The platform supports any mix of 3U o 6U convection or conduction cooled boards The chassis allows board and system developers the access to all sides of the boards and the backplane. For efficient cooling the chassis includes 4 x120 CFM high performance fans. The fans are driven by a fan controller, providing optimum cooling with minimum noise levels for office and lab environments.
EMBEDTEC
The case series EmbedTEC is a flexible product platform practically available in any dimension. Although primarily developed for embedded-computing and HMI (human machine interface) applications, EmbedTEC is also ideally suitable for requirements towards applications like SFF (Small Form Factor) or eNUC (embedded Next Unit of Computing). Thanks to its capacity for flexible configuration, the concept provides the optimal basis, or development platform, for customized case solutions. EmbedTEC consists of one base plate, 4 special design corner elements and a hood. The corner elements, the base plate and the hood can all be individually dimensioned. The base plate and the hood can also be processed for component assembly and mounting parts and accessories. The design also allows the hood to be fitted e.g. with a further functional element such as a heat sink. The use of EMC shielding material - which is also customizable - ensures compliance with enhanced EMC criteria.
EMBEDTEC SFF
EmbedTEC SFF is a versatile enclosure solution for small form factors. This visually attractive aluminium enclosure is an elegant solution to host embedded boards like embedded NUC (eNuc) – pico-ITX (pITX, 2,5") – SMARC – QSeven – SBC’s (for example „Raspberry Pi"). It comes with an exchangeable IO- Shield and a massive Aluminium top cover for cooling purposes. For Platforms with TDP's of up to 20 Watts the top cover can be replaced by a heatsink. The cooling concept can be further adapted to customers’ needs by using perforated side walls or active fans if necessary. In addition to being used as a desktop case, the latest addition to the EmbedTEC family can also be mounted on the wall using an adapter or VESA mount, as well as on a DIN rail in a variety of orientations. Customer-specific adaptations such as dimensions, colour, surface finishes or adapted cooling solutions are of course possible at any time.
FERRORAIL
The 19" subrack series FerroRAIL was developed specially for vibration resistant applications. In addition to the use in harsh industrial environments this series has been independently approved by the LES-DB conformity of Deutsche Bahn (German railway company) and for applications of the French SNCF railway company. Special constructional measures increase the stiffness and absorbe vibrations at the same time. Shielding measures are included in the scope of service as well as many other useful details and accessories. The application for railway technologies is completed by a rear-side wiring frame. Of course the FerroRAIL series is also adaptable for other applications
FREETEC
The case series FreeTEC can be used as a desktop or a 19" rackmount case. Typical is the configuration with standardized plug-in units, but also with custom electronics or assemblies. In the case version with "special-design front" the front panel is mounted without screws and is therefore suitable e.g. for displays or keypads. The cases are suitable for use under EMC criteria and can be upgraded as required with additional shielding material. The frame construction is self-supporting, the covers (top/bottom covers, side covers) are designed for assembly optimization and provide easy accessibility in case of service requirements. Perforation in the bottom cover, side covers and rear panel provides for heat dissipation of the assemblies.
FRONT PANELS
Front panels are typically used in subracks for cover purposes. There are almost unlimited options due to the selection of different dimensions, the possibility for mechanical modifications and the individual appearance through cosmetical surface treatment in combination with print processes. A bottom-hinged or side-hinged version is available. Front panels are also available in extruded profiles.

FT 01/02
Our fan units are designed as circulating fans, they draw in air from below and force it into the modules above. You have a choice among different types of fans, as well as the possibility of retrofitting a retrofit kit in order to implement forced cooling of individual crates (applicable to several crates located one above the other).
Future

The subrack series Future supports any solution starting from a light weigth version all the way towards harsh industrial environments (vibration resistant). Designed for different shielding concepts and applications and individually adaptable. The fixation of the rugged horizontal rails with two screws as well as the tox joined version of the side plates allows the use of the subrack in harsh environments (shock and vibration resistance). The positioning of the rails in the 10-mm increments permits dual mounting.
IPC02
Suitable for the realisation of top-quality 19" PC systems for industrial applications. The system platform IPC01 gives mounting options for passive and ATX form factor mainboards. On the front side are three 5.25" and one 3.5" mounting slots for hard drives as well as two USB 3.0 connectors available. The front carries for the cooling of the boards two fans with dust filter mats. Besides an energy efficient standard 400 watt ATX power supply, other power supplies with higher power as well as redundant power supply are available.
MPS01
The MPS01 is based on our subrack series "Future". This series lends itself to the creation of top-quality systems. The principal system components, such as backplane, power supply, (not MPS01-4) and wiring are already included. Further accessories, such as a system monitor board, power adaptor and plug-in power supplies are available. The MPS01 system can be combined and extended with various backplanes of our standard program, such as CPCI, VME, VME64X.
MPS02
The basic unit of the MPS02 is based on our subrack series "Future". This series lends itself to the creation of top-quality systems. The principal system components, such as backplane, power supply, wiring, etc. are already included. The power supply, fan and SMC (System Management Controller) system components are all pluggable. Further assembly parts are available.
MPS03
The basic unit of the MPS03 is based on our subrack series "Future". This series lends itself to the creation of top-quality systems. The principal system components, such as backplane, power supply, wiring, etc. are already included. The power supply (max. 300 watt), fan and SMC (System Management Controller) system components are all plugable. Further assembly parts are available.
OPEN VPX BACKPLANES
Open VPX can be regarded as direct follow-up product to the well-known VME64x. By using high-speed serial point-to-point connections, Open VPX sets new standards in terms of data transfer rate and is far superior to its previous model in this respect. Its thoroughly robust design makes it the platform of choice for numerous rugged applications.
PANELPC 2
The case series PanelPC 2 was developed specially for PanelPC and/or display and control systems. The case is typically used in industrial environments. The display frame out of massive aluminium can be used for display sizes from 10.1" up to 21.5" and can as well be adjusted for different kinds of cover glass. The case is primarily designed for the usage of PCAP-Touches. Through a two-piece chassis concept in layer construction an easy and variable mounting is possible. The rear hood, made of stainless steel can be individually adjusted to the required computing platform. The passive cooling system of the case allows the application of computing platforms with the most diverse form factors (eg. 3.5" SBC) with a TDP of max. 25 watt.
PLUG-IN UNITS
Shielded modules and plug-in units are used for the mounting of one PCB. The standard version provides for the accomodation of PCBs in the format of single or double Eurocards sizes. The modules guarantee an optimum for mechanical protection for the location of single PCBs in subracks or cases. The basic versions already cover shielding requirements.
PSB 2.16
The PSB 2.16 backplane is based on the PICMG backplane. The VITA 31.1 has simply been enhanced with a Gigabit Ethernet Link. This leads to a PICMG 2.16 Gigabit Ethernet Switch (Fabric) which connects the links (nodes) with one another. This can also be connected to the front panel with an RJ45 connector, if needed.
QUARTO
The design of the extruded case Sequence with its striking cooling fin structure is particularly appealing. The tube is designed to accommodate single or double Eurocards in multiple levels. This series is available in two basic versions. The decorative frame is available either in a solid closed or open version made of plastic. The open frame version is accompanied by an aluminium front panel. The front panels are optionaly available with a groove accepting conductive gasketing for compliance with EMC criteria and rating up to IP54.
RAILO
The series Railo can be used as a DIN-rail or wall-mounting module and accommodates PC boards, Eurocards or custom electronics. Stable and torsion-free insertion of boards is provided by integrated guidance. The front design can be individually arranged to choice based on experience and equipment which allows freedom in built and visual aspects. The outer dimensions are adjustable in all directions and provide an unrestricted realization of your demanded solution. The front of the modules can be designed for the required application in a few simple steps. The base profile and the accompanied clamping and snap-on lock provide a secure positioning.

SMARTEC
"The SmarTEC case can be flexibly adapted to specific applications and requirements. The cases are available both as a one-piece tube or a two-part extruded solution A distinctive feature of the two-part extruded solution is the accessibility from the top. Nevertheless it is still possible to benefit from all typical advantages of an extruded product - such as for example stability and design for quick assembly.
Both versions comply with EMC criteria. The case carries a robust appearance using its solid die-cast frame whilst the alternative open frame in combination with aluminium front panels provide almost unlimited options for the mechanical and optical diversification of the front- and rear appearance."
SMC3
"The SMC3 is a modified version of the system monitoring board SMC2 and has been significantly improved in terms of functionality and usability. Among others, it is for example used in VME and CPCI systems, where it intelligently controls the system fans. Thanks to intelligent control algorithms, it combines maximum cooling performance with minimum noise.
The SMC3 has a wide operating voltage range of 5 to 36VDC and five digital inputs and outputs (open collector). A special feature is its ability to monitor and control up to six fans divided into three groups. It is also used to monitor up to eight system voltages and up to eight temperatures, which is particularly essential for use in high-performance systems.
SPACE
The case series Space are typically used for configuration with custom electronics and accessories. Conversion kits are available for horizontal PCB mount of plug-in modules in single or double Eurocard formats. The series can be used as desktop or 19" rackmount cases depending on the choice of front panel. Use of front panel "Type B" in combination with 19" mounting brackets also enables recessed mounting in 19" racks. The cases are suitable for use under EMC criteria and can be upgraded as required with additional shielding material.
VITA31.1
The VME64x backplane forms the basis for the VITA31.1 backplane. The VITA31.1 has simply been enhanced with a Gigabit Ethernet Link. This leads to a PICMG 2.16 Gigabit Ethernet Switch (Fabric) which connects the links (nodes) with one another. It can also be connected to the front panel with an RJ45 connector, if needed.
VME64X
VME64x is an upgrade of the VME64 standard and it permits 64-bit data transmission. This means that a whole set of new features can be added to the VME, VME64 boards and to the backplanes and subracks. The new features include enhanced 160-pin P1/J1 and P2/J2 connections, optional 95-pin (2-mm hardmetric P0/J0 connection) for more user-defined I/O, +3.3V and additional performance.
VMEBUS
The VMEbus specification (ANSI/VITA 1-1994) has been developed for 19" racks and supports bus sizes up to 21 slots. The J1 backplane 3U (16 bit) supports all data and control signals and thus functions as an independent backplane. The J2 backplane (3U) complements the J1 backplane in the system to provide a higher transmission rate (32Bit). The "Mono" backplane (6U) enables fast assembly and easy power supply. It combines the J1 and the J2 backplanes into one unit. Bus termination can be selected from active and passive as well as daisy chain.
series 30
The subracks of the series 30 can be configured made to suit based on a modular concept consisting of a extraordinary selection of pieces parts and components and completed for most diverse applications. The series 30 safeguards the use for mounting in 19" racks, for panel mount or wall-mount applications. A high configuration range as well as the variety of possible technical solutions are characterized by the flexibility and compatibility of the applicable components. The horizontal card mounting for all common Eurocard formats are given as well as all common vertical mounting systems.
