COMPACTPCI
CompactPCI Backplanes based on a PICMG standard (PICMG 2.0 Rev.3.0) are intended for industrial applications and environments that demand high standards due to reliability and robustness. Here the classical PCI bus is transposed to a 19"-compliant platform.
COMPACTPCI PLUS I/O
CompactPCI Backplanes based on the PICMG-Standard (PICMG 2.3 Rev.1) are 100% compatible to the classic CompactPCI backplanes and extend them with a modern, serial point-to-point connection through the rear connector J2. These include, among others, the PCI-Express, Ethernet 1000 Base-T, USB 2.0 and SATA/SAS. The CompactPCI Plus I/O builds the bridge to CompactPCI-Serial.
COMPACTPCI SERIAL
CompactPCI Serial uses the mechanical features of the established CompactPCI and is therefore 100% IEEE compliant. Unlike its previous model, CompactPCI Serial only uses serial point-to-point connections between the individual slots. The 2 mm hard metric connector of the CPCI has been replaced by a more modern and compact connector, which allows to process different serial signals of 10 Gb/s serial and more.
DEVELOPMENT CHASSIS
The modular open frame Test & Development system solution can be used in VME / 64x, CPCI and VPX based embedded applications.The development system with the ruggedmodular aluminum construction for 3U and 6U boards can support backplanes up to 10 slots at 0.8 or 8 slots at 1.0 inch pitch. The platform supports any mix of 3U o 6U convection or conduction cooled boards The chassis allows board and system developers the access to all sides of the boards and the backplane. For efficient cooling the chassis includes 4 x120 CFM high performance fans. The fans are driven by a fan controller, providing optimum cooling with minimum noise levels for office and lab environments.
