FRONT PANELS
Front panels are typically used in subracks for cover purposes. There are almost unlimited options due to the selection of different dimensions, the possibility for mechanical modifications and the individual appearance through cosmetical surface treatment in combination with print processes. A bottom-hinged or side-hinged version is available. Front panels are also available in extruded profiles.

This leads to a PICMG 2.16 Gigabit Ethernet Switch (Fabric) which connects the links (nodes) with one another. It can also be connected to the front panel with an RJ45 connector, if needed.[:]
